OVERVIEW:
The 2025 ACPNJ Scientific Meeting aims to equip internal medicine physicians and other healthcare professionals with the latest information on current health topics. Key areas of focus will include Updates and Challenges in Diabetes, Menopause and Testosterone Replacement Controversies, Pre-Operative Assessments, and Hospital at Home Programs. Through a blend of lectures, case presentations, and interactive discussions, attendees will enhance their ability to improve care for their patients, families, and healthcare teams.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
At the conclusion of this activity, learners should be able to:
- Discuss challenges in the management of diabetes and how to manage them
- Describe optimal best practices in the management of menopause
- Describe optimal best practices in testosterone replacement therapy
- Explain the challenges in performing a preoperative assessment and how to overcome them
- Discuss the benefits of a Hospital at Home program
- Highlight take aways from resident and student posters and presentations
- Highlight the benefits of the resident and student challenge bowls and how they contribute to patient care
